Instructions for authors
The scope of our journal
Our publications embody a creative fusion of histories, Geist der Zeit, and the search for truth and relevance about burning issues and wicked problems. We seek to create the desired futures in people-centered labour market policies, responsible international business, research and knowledge diffusion where people and environment come before profits.
We endeavor to show-case the critical and thought-provoking ideas that promote social cohesion by giving voice to what matters to the world and promoting the agency of the othered. We do so by encouraging innovative contributions that offer novel, sustainable, ethical, and science-based policy and technological solutions for the diffusion of positive social change.
We simultaneously promote progressive societies and indigenous traditions by recognizing the crucial role of context and pluriversal worldviews.
Integrity is our foundation and standard operating principle. We are aware of the age of deception and post-truth where fake news, alternative facts, and cooked-up data are sensationally used to mislead the public. We will promote critical thinking and information cocreation that leads to beneficial public choices.
In addition to short articles, we also publish cutting-edge and thought-provoking opinion pieces on various subjects. Such opinion pieces published are strictly the opinions of the authors.
How to submit an article?
Those wishing to submit an article on/opinion piece to the burning issues and relevant themes that are covered in the Hilltop Post, are welcome to submit a straight-to-the point, timely and crispy 800-1000 words in a Word document (or another editable text file such as .txt or .rtf , but not pdf) to submissions@hilltoppost.eu. In addition, the authors should attach a short, 100-word biography and a high resolution portrait photo.
High-resolution images, charts or graphs can accompany articles, provided that they are not more than three and help make the text clearer for our readers. In place of references, please supply hyperlinks if needed.
Please note that only original articles that are submitted to us first can be considered and authors must declare that their articles submitted to us are not simultaneously under consideration in another outlet.
The editor reserves the right to make the necessary changes to submitted articles while making sure that they still retain the original voice of the authors. Final versions of all articles are approved by the authors prior to publication.
Please be notified that by publishing with the Hilltop Post, the authors still have the rights to their articles but also grant the Hilltop Post an unlimited, royalty-free license (also for commercial purposes) to use the article on our website.
We strongly encourage women, minorities, those who feel underrepresented and those who feel the urge to speak for the voiceless to submit an article to the Hilltop Post as a practical way of ensuring inclusivity and diversity.
Thank you for checking in with the Hilltop Post for an engaging and inclusive dialogue!
